Brown School Family,
It’s hard to believe but true . . . Our spring break begins at 12:05 p.m. this Friday. I am writing to you today to encourage you to make every effort for your child to be in attendance Friday morning. Not only is it Flip Flop Friday and our reading month movie party, but also it’s an important day in our school year count. The State of Michigan requires that 75% of our students are present each day we count toward the 180 day requirement. If we do not meet the required attendance amounts, then next Friday will not be able to count as a school day.
We understand that some of our families will be leaving early for the break due to unchangeable travel arrangements. If your spring break plans are flexible, we just ask that you help us out by sending your child to school on this special half day.

Brown School Science Fair Night
This Tuesday, March 28 is the Brown School Science Fair Night from 6:00-8:00pm. Our Science Night will include a visit from Sarett, demonstrations of liquid nitrogen, making ice cream, a book fair and loads of more fun! Please make time for the whole family to come and enjoy!
