News for the week of January 25, 2021

Our adoption of the Positivity Project (P2) has been nothing short of amazing! Our students and staff are engaging daily in powerful conversations related to character strengths. We are already noticing the powerful impact of the real life examples and common vocabulary used within the program. Ask your child about last week's character strength "perseverance".

Want to learn more about P2? Please check out the brief video linked below.

Valentine's Day
February 14th is quickly approaching and of course, things this year will be a little different.  It just so happens that the 14th is on a Sunday this year and students do not have school on Friday the 12th or on Monday the 15th.  So, hold off on the candy and packaged valentines, here is the plan...

During the week of February 8 - 11, our Positivity Project (P2) activities will be focused on "Love."  Their definition of love is that you value close relationships with others and being close to people. The character strength of love represents the way we think, feel, and behave towards the people with whom we have close relationships.

Classes will have activities and lessons throughout the week that will take the place of the traditional card exchange.  No need to send anything in from home, we will handle it all in-house.

If you want to look ahead at family activities and connections for that week, remember you can access the P2 for Families at https://posproject.org/p2-for-families/  The password is P2.
