Brown School News for March 12, 2018




Ahoy, Mateys! 


We are celebrating the joy of reading at Brown School throughout the month of March. From special guest readers to pirate ships and treasure maps, the love of literature is shining brightly throughout our hallways and within our classrooms. Please be sure to mark your calendars for the special days listed below.

3/12     Board of Ed Meeting @ Brown School 6 p.m.
            Spanish Class after school

3/13      Access @ 8 a.m.
             Miss Grimm's class to Calling All Colors 9:00-11:30am
             4th grade program 6 p.m.
             Girls on the Run after school

3/14     Late start day

3/15     Skate Night 6-8 p.m. @ Lakeshore Roller World

3/16      Popcorn day!
             Second graders to Sarett 9-11:30am
             Yearbook forms are due!






3/19   Book fair begins!
          Mr. Klein to guest read in 5th grade classrooms
          Spanish Class after school
          PTO meeting - 7pm in M.C. - please join us!

3/21   Late start day

  • Don’t forget to turn in your K-2nd Reading Logs each Friday.
  • 3rd-5th lets see those reading counts points sail!

We are collecting books!


Our school has a couple really exciting opportunities to get more books into the hands of our youngest readers. Please consider donating any books you are looking to offload; simply drop them in the office.  Thank you in advance!
