The Scholastic Book Fair begins on Monday, March 19th and runs through March 27th in the Brown School Media Center. Family Night will be on March 27th - the same night as the Science Fair. Our online Scholastic Book Fair runs March 14th- March 30th.

March is Reading Month
Keep up the hard work, Brown School! Your weekly reading progress is making a difference and is helping us to reach our school-wide goal of 3,000 books read (Youngs 5s-2nd grades) and 3,500 Reading Counts points (3rd-5th grades) by the end of the month. We will celebrate with a special treat and a movie party on March 30th. We can do it!

District Elementary Super Show

You, your family, and your friends are invited to come and view the District Elementary Super Show at Central Office from March 22-April 27! You may stop in any time during business hours at 3275 Lincoln Ave. in St. Joseph. We hope you’ll stop in for a visit!

Attention Families of 5th Graders!
As you know, preparations are underway to make the end of the school year special for our 5th graders. As a reminder, there has traditionally been a “Guess Who?” display in the hallway, showcasing baby pictures of the 5th graders. The display is up during the month of May until the end of the school year.  In the next couple weeks, please send in a labeled baby picture of your child. There will be an envelope in the office if you want to drop the picture off there. These pictures will be pasted on a bear paw print, so please send in copies, not originals. In order to fit the paw print, the dimensions of the picture should be  3 1/2” x 5” or wallet size.

I would like to have all pictures by April 30th.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me: cindi.johansen@gmail.com

Thank you so much for your help!
