If you are interested in assisting with book returns, check-out, re-shelving books and class activity centers, please fill out a volunteer form and we will contact you. Welcome to Brown School!
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Dan Hernandez to Brown School as Social-Emotional Learning/Behavior support paraprofessional. Mr. Hernandez recently completed his student teaching at Lincoln School in St. Joseph where he made many positive connections with his 5th grade students. He graduated from Central Michigan University in December with a teaching degree and is eager to begin his journey in education. We look forward to welcoming him to our school family.
We are also excited to welcome Miss Carissa Campbell as a student teacher in Linda DeLapa's Kindergarten classroom this semester. Carissa joins us from Central Michigan University. She has a passion for early childhood education and will undoubtably have a wonderful learning experience at Brown School. Welcome, Carissa!
GIRLS ON THE RUN

Brown Elementary School will again be hosting a Girls on the Run team in Spring 2020! 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls can join our team that will meet for ten weeks starting February 24th.
Days: Monday and Wednesday
Time: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
They will have lots of fun with games that incorporate social-emotional learning while practicing for a celebration 5K event on May 15th! For more information, go to www.gotrswmi.org/our-programs.
