GIRLS ON THE RUN
Registration Now Open!
Brown Elementary School will again be hosting a Girls on the Run team in Spring 2020! 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls can join our team that will meet for ten weeks starting February 24th.
Days: Monday and Wednesday
Time: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
They will have lots of fun with games that incorporate social-emotional learning while practicing for a celebration 5K event on May 15th! For more information, go to gotrswmi.org/our-programs.

Spelling Bee
Monday, December 16th from 12:10-12:35pm is our last Spelling Bee meeting before winter break, and it is also when we will be holding our elimination round. We will name the top 10 spellers who will go on to compete in January in the Brown School Spelling Bee. Make sure your competitors are practicing and that they get a good night’s sleep on Sunday!

Yearbook Cover Contest
Brown Elementary School is looking for all elementary artists to submit their best drawing for the Brown Elementary yearbook cover!
• All drawings submitted must be in PORTRAIT format.
• All drawings should have the title Brown Elementary School with the date
2019-2020 boldly shown in your design.
• All drawings should be colorful using colored pencils, markers, crayons, or paint. Bold colors print and look best!
• All drawings should represent school spirit and what it means to be a Brown School Student.
• All drawings should be submitted no later than Monday, December 16, 2019 to Mrs. Codde in the school office by 3:00 pm. There will be no exceptions to this deadline.
• The winner of the contest will receive a free yearbook.
