Classroom Fall Harvest Costume Parties

We are looking forward to our first classroom celebration of the 2021-22 school year this week! Here are a few things we want to be sure to share with you:

  • Costumes can be worn all day (no gore or weapons). We ask that anything that may be distracting to the school environment be saved for home celebrations.
  • Students must wear masks along with their costume (not costume masks alone).
  • All party volunteers MUST have current background check on file - please be sure you have completed the paperwork found here.
  • We will have a costume parade around track outside @ 3:15 p.m. for 1st - 5th graders. All families are welcome to come & take pictures - no background check is needed for the parade session only.

Our SJPS staff, as well as many community members, had the privilege of learning with Dr. Adolf Brown last Monday. This inspirational educator reminded us of the importance of sharing love, light, and insight each and everyday in our work alongside our students and their families.
