Please try to remember to preorder your student’s lunches when they are going to participate in lunch. This helps speed up the morning lunch count process. You will be allowed to order the Friday before the next week using www.sendmoneytoschool.com.
Due to the supply chain issues we are having with our vendors and food outages we will be providing a one week menu on our website and Principal blogs on the Friday before the next week. This will alleviate us having to make constant changes to a monthly menu and keep you better informed.

Brown Bear Student Credit Union is open every Friday from 8:20-8:45 in the cross halls at our great school.
Brown Bear Student CU offers great incentives to promote good saving habits for students. All new members will receive $15 if they open their membership with at least $1 (membership forms are available at the Brown Bear Student CU table or in the school office). All existing members will receive $5 for making making their first deposit at Brown Bear Student CU. There is a prize box so students can choose a prize with every deposit. Every deposit is entered into a monthly drawing to win a gift basket with a $10 Meijer gift card. Every deposit is also entered into an annual drawing to win an iPad Mini at the end of the school year!Just a reminder: the 5th grade Ukulele Concert is June 1st at the High School Auditorium at 7:00 pm. You may start arriving at the auditorium as early as 6:45 pm but not earlier. All schools have their performance on the same night at different times so please wait for the previous show to end before entering the auditorium. Students will report to the front row of the auditorium to sit with their teacher until the show starts. Students are allowed to wear “Hawaiian or Beachy Clothing” to school for their day performance. Students are welcome to bring their personal ukulele to play at the show if they have one.
The students can’t wait to show you all their hard work!
Thank you,
You can help us out by finding any Brown School library books at home and sending them in with your child! If you do not know what books are checked out to your child, you can ask your child's teacher for a print out, or talk with Mrs. Berry in the library. Thanks a bunch! PTO Corner

5th Grade Parents Farewell
Attention 5th grade parents!!
We are working to create a slideshow that will be played at the 5th grade Breakfast.
If you are able, please drop some digital pictures of your 5th grader's school years (K-5) in the Google Folder. Also, before you drop the pictures, please create a folder (within the folder) with your student's name. Drop your photos in the name-labeled subfolder. The end date to send photos is May 23rd. Thank you for your help with this.
Thank you so much to everyone who has signed up to help with the 5th Grade Farewell activities so far! There are still a few more spaces that need to be filled.
Please CLICK HERE to sign up.
Also if you have not donated your $15 towards our funding for the ceremony & t-shirts please do (check email from your childs’ teacher about “Oscar Night”).
