This art show will be on display at Brown School until Wednesday, June 1st.  If you are unable to come to the opening, please make sure you stop by to see your child’s work before the 1st of June during after school hours.  Thank you for all your hard workWe are very proud of YOU and your success in art!

We have a sensory path at Brown School now!
Students are learning how to use this tool to re-energize themselves for essential learning throughout the school day.

Elementary Track Meet Rescheduled for THIS Friday!

Due to the rain, the elementary track meet was rescheduled for this Friday, May 13th!  Due to the date change, we could use some additional volunteers.

This is an annual competition between the three district elementary schools and is always a highlight of the spring.  We will need 20 volunteers to help out that day from 10am-about 3pm.  Responsibilities will include facilitating event stations such as long-jump, shot put, and sprints.  Training/instructions will be provided by the PE teachers prior to students arriving the day of the event.

This event is not well-suited for siblings to attend in a volunteer capacity, but spectators are always welcome!

To volunteer, please fill out the form here: Elementary Track Meet Volunteers

Yearbooks

Yearbooks were distributed to teachers this week. . If you wanted to still purchase a yearbook, they are available in the office for $15 each. You  can pay by cash or check to SJPS.

We hope you love them!

Staff Appreciation

Thank you to everyone for supporting all our staff this week!  We restocked the lounge, treated our staff to daily cards, hugs, flowers and more!

Staff Appreciation

Thank you to everyone who helped show our staff how loved they are!  From daily student actions to a Cinco de Mayo luncheon to restocking the lounge, the staff truly felt loved this week.  We couldn’t do this without our wonderful Brown community!
